Linden Operating Instructions:

Winding

Make sure the crown is pushed in (not pulled out).

Turn the crown clockwise (away from you) slowly.

Wind until you feel resistance — usually about 25–30 full turns.

Stop when you feel resistance — forcing it could damage the movement.

Wind once per day for best timekeeping.

Setting the Time

Pull the crown out one click.

Turn to set the hands to the correct time.

Push the crown back in when finished.

Using the Chronograph

Top pusher (start/stop): Press once to start the timer, press again to stop.

Bottom pusher (reset): Press only when the chronograph is stopped to reset to zero.

Do not reset while running — it can damage the movement.

Tips

It’s normal for the ST1901 to have a slightly stiffer winding feel than a Swiss movement.

Keep it away from magnets.

Make sure crowns are tight before getting into water.

Chief Diver Operating Instructions:

Winding

Unscrew the crown (if your watch has a screw-down crown).

In position 0 (fully pushed in), turn the crown clockwise 15–20 turns to give it a full manual wind.

You can also just wear it — the rotor will wind it automatically as you move.

Do not overwind — it has a slipping clutch, but it’s good practice to stop once you feel resistance.

Setting the Time

Pull the crown out to position 2 (all the way) — this stops the second hand (hacking).

Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands.

Push crown back in to start the seconds again.

Setting the Date

Pull the crown to position 1 (first click).

Turn crown clockwise to set the date.

Avoid changing the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the date-change mechanism.

Wearing & Power Reserve

Power reserve: ~41 hours.

If fully stopped, give it 20 manual winds or shake gently for 30–60 seconds, then set time/date.

Tips

Keep the watch away from strong magnets to avoid accuracy issues.

Ensure the crown is fully screwed down before submerging the watch in water.
